Thought this might be a good place to check..Anyone know of any offbeat affordable places that could be used as a small wedding venue?

I don't know how much they cost nowadays, but my husband and I looked into Mississippi Studios about 6 years ago as well as Ecotrust downtown. The Little Church and Cerimon House in the Alberta neighborhood are other places you could try. Barring that, you could always get married at VooDoo Donuts! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!:)

The June Key Delta Conmunity Center by Peninsula Park is a very unique green/sustainable building. Depending on the time of year and weather, you could do pics across the street at Peninsula Park rose gardens and fountain. Another idea is The Overlook House in North Portland.

I attended a wedding at Urban Studio downtown recently and it was lovely. Not sure what their prices are though. Good luck finding the perfect place!
