Does anyone know a decent computer repair shop in derby?

You have a corrupted profile, they are sometimes repairable but not always. If you can access all your old files then back them all up to a usb stick or external drive. You then have three options: A) Log in via windows safe mode and do a registry edit to change the path of the SID B) Create a new user and copy over the backed up files and delete the old one C) Delete the SID key in registry. A) and C) are risky and could require re installing windows. See here for further details - http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/947215
