Contact swimsational in sulphur, they can help you figure out the swim competitions, also gymnastics ect also has a gym in sulphur. My kids go to Dr Moses in lake Charles, and we love him

I would recommend David Shirley owner of Fencemakers for your fence. He put up a fence for us. His wife is also one of the best teachers at Pinewood where your children will attend school.

William Cole does tumbling/cheer I believe here in Deridder. Swimsational in sulphur may know about swim teams around the area.

Jacob has medicaid and we use Dr Shirley in DeRidder. He's seen both Dr Thomas & Dr James and he loves both of them. Their whole staff is awesome with kids too. Jacob loves going to DeRidder and you usually can get in within a day or so of needing the appt.

We use Dr. Maskas in DeRidder. Not sure what insurance he accepts, but we like them though. I found out last week from my orthodontist (I see Dr. Dicarlo in Sulphur for that), that I have to see an oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth removed - they are growing side ways and fused to my jaw, and pushing my bottom teeth forward, so have to be removed. Dr. Maskas isn't an oral surgeon, so we are having to look for one. The closest one to us that accepts our insurance listed on our insurance website is in Shreveport or Baton Rough, but mom is checking to see if some in Lake Charles may accept our insurance anyways (just not listed on their website.)

The younger Dr. Shirley was very patient with my 2 1/2 year old.:-)

Deborah, the last time I asked, children had to be 5 or older at Dr. Lestage's practice. However, that was when Dr. Fisher was still alive. Have they changed it? If so, I would also recommend him.:-)

We all see Dr. LeStage, unless orthodontics are needed. Our kids are 7 & 8 now, but have seen him since they were 3 & 4. He is a great general dentist!!:)

I loved Dr. LeStage. However, if your child needs teeth removed like my children did, he will refer you to someone in Lake Charles. Only reason we switched is because he is out of network for our insurance.

Between Lestage and the Dr. Shirley dentistry, you really can't go wrong. I like both dentistries. (However, if your child is under 8 and requires a tooth to be pulled, Lestage will refer you to a pediatric dentist.) We were with Lestage for quite awhile, but our insurance put them in the 'out of network' category and we had to switch to Dr. Shirley(s). They both really calmed my fears of switching.:-)

Dr Shirley is awesome. We have been going there since we moved here over 4 years now. They also do orthodontics. They take military insurance ( Metlife Dental ) as well as other insurance. If payment is an issue they have Care Credit or they will work with you. The staff is amazing andbwe love it there!

Dr. Robinson in Lake Charles is awesome with my little girl. She is a pediatric dentist. My daughter was scared but came home playing dentist. Very good experience with her.

Dr. Sanders in Lake Charles is awesome. I first took my daughter to Kool Smiles and they traumatized her. She was highly afraid of the dentist after that and panicked each time we took her. Dr. Sanders knows how to calm children. He has worked wonders with her.

My son is 12 he was like dat when he was her age. Our dentist is Dr. Shirley he said my sin nerves was bad that's y it turned brown, then eventually he had a whole in the back of the tooth. It was also his two top teeth. They were also his baby teeth so when it fell out the new came n and it's perfect

I don't think Goodwins office accepts medicaid at all. Sorry.

I had trauma to a tooth (after hours) and was able to get in with Dr. Lestage next day. He is now my permanent dentist. I love him!

I am having issues with a tooth And have high risk of infection because I have an auto-immune disease. Lestage could not get me in til end of August, even for emergency. Dr. Maskas was able to see me tomorrow. I've heard great things about both.b

Dr. Culp or Dr. Hudson are who we use at Dental Plus in Leesville. They're great! They don't see children under 3. We take our boys to the Alexandria Pediatric Center. They're absolutely wonderful with kids and have a fun atmosphere for them.

West LA Dental in leesville. They are the only ones who have ever called to check on my kids after having dental work done. We use to go to bippo the hippo (Dr Brasher) in Alexandria but they don't let you go back with your kids. Something must've happened because after our last visit my kids didn't want to go back there.

We go to wesr Louisiana dental as well! They are really good with kids! Even oliver had a good experience there!

I highly recommend Dr. Shirley. Their office comes with an incredible amount of recommendations. Please do not use Dr. Robinson unless you have no choice. As a former patient there, I can't begin to tell you the issues I had with them. From "hidden charges" coming up on bills, to them "mysteriously" finding things wrong during procedures, that had previously been checked for and "not found". In fact, I have an appointment for my 3 kids today with Dr. Shirley's office. I'm willing to drive the 42 mins to their office just so I don't have to use Acadiana Dental OR Robinson Dental in Lake Charles.

Dr. Shirley only takes Medicaid for children.

Dr. Shirley was absolutely amazing! The older one works on adults and his son works on kids. He did an amazing job repairing a filling of mine that had worn down and his son did great cleaning my toddlers' teeth for the first time. Made us all feel at ease and the staff was very professional and caring! Great experience all around.
