http://matchwigs.com/buy-cosplay-wigs/635-silmer-long-white-wig-cosplay.html I don't know how long the bangs need to be, but I buy some of my wigs from Matchwigs . Com and they are really soft, you can use heat on them, and they are decently thick for the price :) (not as thick as Arda wigs, but Arda wigs are a bit more so that's expected)

Purple-plum.com is where i got my wig and it was perfect. Also, if you wash your wig, it will take the shine out. :) oh also Arda is another very good source.

My favorite is definitely fivewits.net . I got my wig there and it's definitely really good quality :)

Arda, Epic, WigisFashion, and GhostCos on TaoBao are all amazing. As long as you know where to shop, ebay is fine.

You can either check out the cosplay commissions facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/cosplaycommissions/ and have one commissioned (all the wig commissioners are wonderful, i can recommend you to ones that i work with), or order from Arda wigs or TheFiveWits.net

Ok everyone, I need help. I know nothing about wigs. I am planning on going as zoroark from Pokemon and have found just a couple of wigs that I like, but am not sure who...
Perhaps that, instead of a wig cap, the hair fibers are stitched in lace? My advice is, unless you have a teeny tiny head, do not buy from Chinese retailers. I recommend arda-wigs.com. They come to Youmacon every year and have all kinds of wigs in all kinds of colors and several different lengths.

I also recommend getting some kind of detangler and/or leave-in conditioner for synthetic wigs. I got a Revlon leave-in conditioner from Sally's Beauty Supply (and it specifically says on the bottle that it is for synthetic hair). I bought a Jeannie wig (a special ponytail wig from Arda) and the long ponytail clip got tangled super badly. Then with a wide-tooth comb and the leave-in conditioner, I got the tangles out.:3 So while a long wig is difficult to take care of due to tangling (even the best wigs will tangle unfortunately), not all hope is lost if it does turn into a tangled mess.
Also, Arda has several ways to dye synthetic wigs on their website, not just synthetic dye. So you have a few options. There is a paint option that a well known cosplayer used and it looks freakin beautiful. http://arda-wigs.com/pages/tutorials-articles
Ok so, Cosplayers!

Or if you don't mind buying gently used wigs/not used at all, try the cosplay.com forums for their marketplace. A lot of people sell their wigs/cosplays on there and a lot of them are super good quality!
