I hope you're not planning on installing a mini split yourself and if you're thinking of buying the equipment online and having someone install it, you'll be paying the same price as just having a contractor buying and installing it with a warranty. Call a pro and get a quote. HVAC is not a weekend DIY project.

These guys are in Doral. I've bought about half a dozen Pioneer units from them, and have had zero problems: https://www.highseer.com/about-high-seer-online-store Here is a 2 ton unit. About $1350 plus tax. https://www.highseer.com/ultra-high-seer-inverter-mini-split-ductless/ductless-mini-split-heat-pump-wys024 gm22.html You can buy a multiple head unit, and split your house into zones. First look at the compressor, then look at the individual air handlers. It is funny, but it is only marginally cheaper to go that route rather than buying two separate stand-alone units.

when it comes to mini splits it Mitsubishi and then there is everyone else. unfortunately for you any Mitsubishi mini split bought online or installed by someone not certified has no warranty http://www.mitsubishicomfort.com/internet-sales you would have to go through a contractor preferably an hvac company

I saw a diy amazon buy a couple months ago, line set came pretty flared and it was longer then the length needed so they did like 3 large loops outside lol.

You can get Mitsubishi at www.acwholesalers.com. It makes sense if you can install it yourself and are willing to risk that the unit will not break during the warranty period.
