Have you tried the Venture Centre near Ramsey, very basic as it is for Scouts/Guides/Adventurers etc but about £15 per night, per person, self catering, en suite, clean, very friendly. Although not too close to the hospital but it may be cheap enough to hire a vehicle while you are here.

Not sure if Homestay is available - 01624 694455. Usually £25 pnpp....... b&b. good luck
