Dover Recommendations I’m looking for some good local restaurants, a good barber, and a good FM radio station in the Dover area. I will be moving there next week....

101.3 for older rock. 101.7 news/talk . 1410AM news talk. 94.7 country. 92.9 pop. Eats... "33 West Ale House"......downtown at Lookerman and Bradford St. "Restaurant 55" .....burgers and craft beer ....also good and right next door is "Cool Springs restaurant and fish bar."

Adventure beyond Dover too.
Food: **Chedders** is my favorite. Affordable, delicious food, that's a step above bar fair.
**spences bizarre** Tuesdays, Fridays, and Thursdays. Is by far my favorite place to eat for lunch in Delaware. The amish food they have is the best I've ever had.
**Bylers/Witt Brothers**(now Camden market) for some good cold subs. Also, Bylers ice cream is $1 a scoop.
**Where Pigs Fly** is pretty good for barbeque, and is our hometown staple. There aren't many original restaurants left in Dover, it's nice that this one has lasted.
**Chinatown Buffet** used to be waaay better, but is still good, and worth at least lunch price.
**Luigi's Pizza** is a solid Mom and Pop pizzeria. Family owned, and tasty.
**Giacomo's**(pizza delights by) also solid mom and pop pizza. Above mentioned got their start from Giacomo's. I come here for my subs, and Luigi's for pizza. Everything else is similar.
Places to avoid:
**Taco bell** in Camden is garbage. What you *get* is terrible, and that's what they actually remember to give you. Avoid drive through at all costs.
**Waffle House** sucks too. It's been a while since I've been, but there's a good reason.
If you're curious about any other food places in, and around Dover... I've been to most, so just ask.
**Radio** out of Philly of you can get good signal, 93.3(current rock oldies too depending on the DJ), 102.9(Almost all classic rock), 104.5(Alt rock), 95.7(A wildly random mix of music, but good music.)
Locals are like others have said, 101.3, 97.7, but I don't care much for them.
The beaches are close. Utilize the crap out of them, especially within September through November. Same can be said for Newark, but that's a whole other novel.

Yukon Korean BBQ and Glasgow Deli are pretty good spots in Dover.

Good FM - depends on what you listen to. You'll be lucky to get Philly FM and the Dover FM stations are one country, one 80's-90's-00's station, a top 40 ish station, and stations from elsewhere (country, pop, talk, etc.). Your best bet might be to Spotify and chill. Food - [Here's one I recommend.](http://myrestaurant55.com/)

Uppercuts is the best barber shop, if you like sushi n Thai food check out Chaiyo. They have really good $10 lunch specials but the one close to the airbase gets swarmed by military people at lunch time

Look up Dias the Combat Barber on FB, he work inthe J-La Salon right across from the new steakhouse (Longhorn I think). Scheduling is pretty busy so don't expect any less than a week wait for he's always done good by me. I also use Sports Clips up by Best Buy if I need a cut and he isn't available. Mainly because I know a few of the girls there.

Avoid virtually everything mentioned in this thread. These morons have no idea about anything, whether it's a radio station or a barber shop.
