Could she drive it out? There are companies/groups that "hire" drivers to drive your car to a specific location. http://www.autodriveaway.com/

I am parent of CSU Senior, and I recommend my sister Jaki. After 30 years of commercial driving she now does Personal Services Driving, for about the past 7 years. She drives snowbirds to and from the Gulf coast, sometimes accompanying the car owner, and sometimes just getting the car/truck/trailer/RV to the destination and meeting the owner there when they fly in. Also drives families to visit relatives, and frequently drives for Amish families both local and long distance (from New York to Colorado). Drives an elderly lady between Wisconsin and South Texas twice a year, and once drove her to Washington state. Jaki could accompany your daughter in your car and get her there safely, or she can drive the car alone and meet your daughter at CSU. You would pay her airfare from Michigan to Boston, and from Colorado back home, and basic expenses on the road. She would negotiate with you on compensation and expenses for driving the car. References available and FB page (search for Aunt Jaki Can Drive). PM me if you want more info.
