Does anybody know of a positive reinforcement private dog trainer somewhere in the valley? My friend has a 3 year old mix that she is looking to train. Ideally she's...

Try Kendra at Doggie Mannerz. I had her come to my home when I first got my German Shepherd Dog puppy and she does a lot of approximation training and positive owner responses. She helped my dog and me with walking on leash. It was not the leash but, rather the harness that was the problem. I think Kendra does a really good job with both dog and human. She is not inexpensive but, then the good people never are. Reach her at: info@doggiemannerz.com Edit: put capital letters where they need to be.

Leslie at Barleys Canine Rec Center! We are having to train our Aussie that has become aggressive. The only to do it is through positive reinforcement. She is amazing!

Give Salty Dog Behavior Training a call. We got our Heeler at about a year old. She had been through three homes before us and didn't really have any structure. She was really leash reactive/aggressive and seemed to have some separation anxiety. After discussing her behavior with Jill we decided the 3 day board with follow up appointments would be the best fit and one year later she's the best little pooch! It was just as much training for us as it was for our dog but I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. As I said above we opted for the boarded trading but she has options for in home appointments also. She also offers dog boarding to any clients that have sent their dogs through her training and at a pretty good price.
