Dr. Joy Dental Clinic - there's branches in Mirdif, Jumeirah and Karama. My sister got braces there and I have quite a few friends and family members that love the staff. Their checkup is **free**, you can just call them and ask for an appointment with Dr Hassan. My wife did an extraction there which was an hour operation and they took 500 dirhams, other places asked for 400 dirham just for the checkup and another 1600 for the extraction. Even better, Dr Hassan is so friendly and gave us his personal mobile number to call anytime we need help.

I would recommend The Clinic in DIFC. That is, depending on your budget and the insurance you have, as they're not cheap. Expect valet parking, Espresso machine in the waiting room and a very good service !

I would not recommend Pyrmont Dental Specialist. I went there for a general check up and free x-ray. After the x-ray I was suggested that I should have my bottom two wisdom teeth removed on the spot. I asked was it necessary and he replied no. A few months later, I had excruciating pain and I went to Drummoyne Dental Care. I provided the same x-rays and was told that my bottom wisdom teeth was impacting against my nerve and I required surgery. I saw a specialist who pointed out the impact on the original x-ray. A month later after surgery I was all hope chappy!

I haven't actually been to her before; I had another dentist at the practice but he left for some reason, and she is picking up my treatment.
