I was gifted the Knot's planning binder and I don't really used it TBH. I use google's wedding planning spreadsheet for basically everything and bring a notebook with me to vendor appointments. I haven't used [this](https://bridechillastore.com/products/pre-order-bridechilla-book-tote-pack) particular planner/book but I listen to the podcast and it's been very helpful and approachable.

I also bought The Knot's planning binder and haven't really used it. There are so many resources online for free, I wouldn't recommend spending money on a book or anything

I actually went digital— it’s not solely a wedding planning site but I’m using AirTable.com to organize myself! It has sample templates and I found a wedding one and you can organize it any which way, set filters, and customize how you want. It even has a table placement organizer. I seriously love it. I supplement by having my own little binder with a regular month by month planning calendar where I wrote in important dates and vacations and used The Knot’s deadline suggestions for important to do items that I listed on the side of each month. Also in the binder is a folder for contracts etc, and a notebook for my planning notes and conversations with vendors etc.

I liked using The Knot's wedding planner binder - it was helpful for organizing contracts & business cards for vendors and I liked the physical color swatches in there to help pick matching colors/themes, etc. As for a book, u/mr_malcontent turned me on to "Wedding Planning for the Busy Feminist" [in this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/weddingplanning/comments/8 iy02 f/just_found_this_cool_wedding_planning_guide_for/), which I downloaded from amazon on my kindle. I will also +1 for Google Docs - great for collaboration! My fiance are currently "arguing" over the different types of candy for our candy bar via Google Docs.
