I've heard that the Lime Tai is pretty good, 187@the RSL is supposed to be very good & the Tai Rose Garden in West Dubbo is awesome & The Old Bank was nice, not a lot of choice (plus we got put in a little pocket away from everyone & everything).......Good luck with your choice

Some of the meals at the RSL leave a lot to be desired.. Lime Thai (Maylee is the Manager) have wonderful warming food. Wyldfire is my all time favourite though. My daughter and I have been going there since they opened and for 2 people including coffe/tea/chai is around $54..Darsh is the manager there and you cannot fault him for his service to you. Hog's Breath serve a great steak, but watch the extras..Grapevine is next and they have great food at reasonable prices. Castlereagh Hotel and Milestone would be next in line. Haven't been to Escence because they are closed on Monday, and the rest of the hotels and eating establishments are generally expensive, except the Amaroo but some of the meals are just not hot enough..but again it depends on what you want to eat. Have fun exploring !

The Old Bank is up on top of my list! Along with cattlemans

I've always enjoyed Two Doors, but I've heard a few bad reviews since it changed owners. James and I went to The Old Bank for his birthday and really enjoyed the food (service was a little slow). If you go there try and get a table near the front of the restaurant.
Best restaurants?
Please do not just name restaurants.

Rose Garden Thai is awesome .. i prefer the one in Brisbane street, its more intimate. Cheap good feeds South Dubbo Tavern and Amaroo. Macquarie Inn does an awesome steak, better than hogs breath:)

The Macquarie Inn has become a firm favourite. The prices start at $8 a pop. They are on Facebook and you can just walk in. Great family place with a playground.
Does anyone know any restaurants in town that do nice seafood? Thanks
Heidi S. replied:
Sticks and Stones has an awesome Snapper Fillet for there winter menu. And One 7 8 Has a Catch of day or something along those lines they both have online menus
Carolyn L. replied:
Blue Lagoon or The Cattleman (odd choice I know- but it depends on what type of seafood you're after).
Vegetarian Big Brekkie from the Grapevine is really good! Or Short St's Breakfast Bruschetta.. I add bacon to both but I'm sure it would be just as good without it
