There's a shop on the edge of Queens, near Rosedale. They cater to dreads and natural hair. Not sure of the exact address, but it's called "Howe It's Done". I've heard good things about them.

Delux Natural Hair Gallery is in Fort Greene. They specialize in locs but they're not super reasonably priced.@crownsbyniac does locs and she's reasonably priced and reliable. She's in Brooklyn and loves doing color.
