Bahia Honda State Park down in the Keys is awesome. Some of the camp sites are literally right on the beach.

What sort of things are you looking to do? I visited Highland Hammock State Park for the day and was in love with it. Check to see what Everglades National Park has to offer.

Koreshan State Historic site is cool. There's some wacky history and buildings you can wander around in. I don't think they have a playground though, but it's very pretty. Blue Spring state park is also a favorite, they have swimming and they do have a playground. Might be close to 4 hours from you. Edit - Sorry I omitted the beach from my recommendations, but Bahia Honda is great. Check their page first because they are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
