We are in the market for a good bike shop. Any recommendations?

A good shop close to where you live is best. I use Reeds and Ridgeline. Both provide good friendly service.

Kurt Holzer says it right. I live near Eagle but i will go to Eastside cycles anytime because Ryan Faber is the best IMO.

My personal favorite is Meridian Cycle. But the small locals are all good. Jeremiah I think unwittingly brings up a good point. Each shop carrys only certain bicycle makes and geometries and ride feel do vary. It pays to go to several and take bikes out on a test ride to get a feel for the bike and how it matches your goals and comfort. The locals are pretty good at this.
