Looking for restaurant suggestions for a date with my hubby tomorrow night for my birthday. Would like something other than a chain restaurant & reasonably priced.
Cassie M. replied:
we always go to buona vita in park city, if you are wanting a nice drive, or there is also another Bona Vita in Traverse Mountain http://bonavitabistro.com/ really really good.
Sarah W. replied:
Tucanos Brazilian Grill in the Riverwoods. Download their app tonight and you'll get a BOGO meal for your birthday month. You basically get all you can eat for $23+tax and tip for the both of you, drinks are additional. Call to make reservations, they are usually busy on the weekends.

Does anyone know anything about the Six Sisters Cafe going in by chevron? I'm pretty excited about it. I couldn't find much info about it online though...
Codi W. replied:
It isn't THE Six Sisters Stuff, but they've posted on here or another page that they're trying to open as soon as they can.
Good morning EM! what is your favorite breakfast restaurant?

I agree with Wendy above, OPH is lovely, there's always a wait, so be prepared. And I also LOVE Oasis in downtown SLC for weekend brunch. And if you want quick, easy breakfast in town, during the week - Six Sisters sizeable breakfast burritos:)

Maria Bonita in Orem on 800 north!!
Janae G. replied:
Joe Bandito's is great if you like the taste of canned Chinese food rolled up in a tortilla. Having lived in Mexico, there are no great Mexican restaurants in Utah. However, there are places that grow on you. Mi Ranchito in AF, the Red Iguana in SL, El Mexiquense in AF, and Los Amigos in Provo.
Ashley E. replied:
Maria Bonita
Tiffany J. replied:
MI Ranchito
Natalie S. replied:
Maria Bonita is good and the portions are crazy huge, but don't go if you're in a hurry to go anywhere after. They can be soo slow!
Michelle B. replied:
Mi Ranchito in AF! and its kid friendly:)
Chris G. replied:
Ashley Sams Warren is talking about El Mexiquense.
You can tell El Mexiquense is authentic because most the customers are Mexican and English is NOT the primary language of the cooks. You want authentic, you eat where that culture eats.
Shani S. replied:
Los Hermanos is good, 2.
Kim B. replied:
I second El Mexiquense! It is wonderful! My husband (very picky about his authentic Mexican food) LOVES it!
Blake S. replied:
El Mexiquense is good, but pretty salty. Our favorite is actually Maria Bonita on 8 th north in Orem, just across the street from the Macey's on the east side of state street. Their portion sizes are huge, the little lady that greets us every time is stellar, and their prices are down right cheap! We recommend their horchata, as well. They give you one free refill on it, too. My wife and I share it, and get the refill to go for our leftovers that feed us the next day as well.
Has anyone tried the Mexican restaurant in SS by subway? Any good? Is it a sit down and be served place?
Melinda T. replied:
I can actually eat at Cafe El Lago and they are pretty decebt
Irma C. replied:
That's what happens when you get a salad. I had a bug in my salad from Cafe Rio and Zupas. Haven't been back since. Eww! Extra protein!
Brooke S. replied:
Cafe El Lago? Great Place. It is a sit down restaurant. We've been there a few times. Really yummy.
Brooke S. replied:
I agree with Chris. El Mexiquense is awesome. Cafe El Lago is american Mexican for sure. But it's always yummy when I've gone. I love me a chimichanga.
