Amherst does require a license ..... Aurora Plumbing674-5800
Jim H. replied:
Residential plumbing requires a permit and a licensed plumber in Amherst, Williamsville, Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, Buffalo, and west Seneca ... there may be more, but they are the only ones I am aware of ... possibly Grand Island. they use satellite photo scans to check for illegal construction in Grand island, Tonawanda and Buffalo ... and they issue summons and fines based on those satellite photos.. These things have been going on for quite a few years ... since the late 70's or 80's

Scott McFarland, by next door you mean the lot that is a half mile away? GO FOR IT! I could careless if a trailer was put up "next door" I own the 57 acres on each side of my property.... So my position stands on the total bogus B.S. of these codes.
Any plumber recommendations for south towns? Just a small job- I hope!

John Wittmann, 662-2268, but I don't know if he's licensed too work in EA. He was just here last week and we spoke about working in othere towns. He rather implied if it is a small, simple job he may be able to do that. (between you and me, please). Tell him what you need, and that I reccommended him. Nice guy.
