When I moved to MI, I had to go to my local LEO and fill out the pistol registration paperwork for each handgun. At that time it cost me $5 each. Nothing was needed for rifles or shotguns. If you have say suppressors or SBRs I don't know anything useful about them.

Check out Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices www.mielderlaw.com They did an elder law seminar at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility in Charlotte, Michigan last year. The attorney I met seemed knowledgeable and was comfortable to talk to.

Stay away from Joanne Mickley or Hinds. She handled my moms right after my dad died. Didn't return phone calls and charged her more than she quoted. There were other issues as well, my mom felt completely taken advantage of. Since then she has worked with David Brake and been very happy.
