I use a guy just outside Maryland station called Maryland Barbers, £6 for your standard haircut - should be open today as he is normally open 7 days a week...

East of city any good to you? Jack the clipper in spitalfields and shoreditch.
Can anyone recommend a really good barber? I need to get a haircut, but I don't really wish to spend a hefty chunk of change at some gimmicky joint. I've seen the Ted...

This is where I go, located in Shad Thames next to Tower Bridge. Lovely bunch of people in there, if you go for the 'Wash, Cut and Finish' for £19 then they do an awesome head massage for about 5 minutes whilst washing your hair. They apply different shampoos and conditioners about 3/4 times over before finally washing it off and getting on with the cut.
Don't think they do a shave unfortunately, but as stated they do do a beard trim for £7. Never experienced it though.
Only ever had one wet shave in London, and had to go last minute as I had just been told that in the evening I was going to a fancy dinner so had to perk up a bit - went to [this place](https://www.wahanda.com/service/463803-mens-wet-shave-at-groovy-hair-salon/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=wahanda-customer-order-confirmation&utm_source=wahanda-email) through Wahanda, and it cost me £15. Nice enough shave, no frills and no rash either - the guy literally splashed pure alcohol (or near enough) on my face after. Hurt like hell but did the job.

there is a male grooming chain called murdoch. It's on the pricier side of things, but if you have facial hair they will sort that out for you. Go and see David, he is chill and a super good guy. http://www.murdocklondon.com Good luck...
