An architect has to be 50% designer, 50% marriage counselor, so you guys both have to sit down with a few different people and see what you think, see who you get along with best. I would recommend Roger Jones, who helped us wonderfully with our house, but it appears he has moved back to Michigan. BOO! We used Truex Cullins for our architect and Hobie Guion and Bill Heigis for the building. We give great reviews! You can come see their beautiful craftsmanship if you want.
