Piano Tuner Does anyone have a recommendation for a piano tuner in the area. I've googled it but I would love to hear about your experiences. My wife and I recently...

If you come up with one, let me know. I need one for after the holidays.

You could try John Oppernockity. The problem is you'll have to find someone else if you need your piano tuned again. Oppernockity only tunes once.

I can't speak for his piano tuning ability, but I had a professor who tunes pianos as a side gig. Great guy. Just an FYI - tunings don't always fix the sound of your piano. Sometimes, you may find a crack in the wood of the bridge, which could make a piano never stay in tune. Sometimes, strings are rusted and hammers broken. You could find a whole bunch of issues with heirloom pianos - so make sure you get an assessment before any work is done. But yeah - /u/poppalopalov's suggestion, Jon Cohen - looked at my ol' piano a few years back, happy with the results.
