Just wondering if anyone has boarded their dog at Camp Bow Wow ? Just want to see if it's the right place for our dog. Thanks!

I recommend Playful Paws in Burnside, the staff is amazing and they do not leave your dog there, one of the staff takes them home and back to day care the next day.

I would suggest looking into Playful Paws in Burnside. Don’t get me wrong, I have heard good things about Camp Bow Wow but I am totally not ok with my boy being left overnight in a building by hisself (well not alone, there is obviously other fur companions), what if something was to happen, yes you can watch the webcam but what good is that if there is no one there? The staff at Playful Paws are AMAZING!! Your fur baby will not be staying by hisself in a crate in a building, the girls take your baby home at night with them and are treated as their own. They are not alone, they are with someone they know and trust and will have a trusted play buddy as the staff also all have their own fur babies.

I had my dog there for four days, he was 1 at the time, golden retriever. When I go him back he had hot spots on his feet and then started loosing his hair. So I don’t think keeping him there overnight was “for him”, I think it stresses him out. However for just a play day they are great and he loves to spend the day. My co worker swears by a place called “dogs at home” the owners name is lisa mailto:dogsathome@eastlink.ca

I had co workers that used Camp Bow Wow. They seemed to like it. They have cameras and you can log on line to see what’s going on
