Hi everyone, I'm looking for recommendations for good book stores. I am already familiar with half price books and Elliott Bay.thanks!
Jill L. replied:
It depends on what you like to read, doesn't it? I'm crazy about Book Larder in Fremont and Ada's Technical Books, enjoy the Third Place Books in Ravenna, and have picked up excellent gifts at Seattle Mystery Bookshop. Some good finds from local Bookworm Exchange, too. And, I have a Kobo e-reader, which indie booksellers adopted as their official reader, so I can read ebooks and give the sale cost to an actual storefront.
Sara G. replied:
Bookworm Exchange in Hillman City is a locally owned bookstore.
Becky B. replied:
+1 Island Books on Mercer Island.
Alison L. replied:
Third Place Books will be opening in Nov at the current PCC Seward Pk location.
Anna M. replied:
Not HANDY but I think University Bookstore is very nice.
