Dr. Otten and Dr. Friar are both fantastic (Eaton Rapids....also in Charlotte). Their Nurse Practitioner Julie is really good too. I couldn't be happier with them. Team One is where they're located.

Just found out my primary care physician is moving out of state. Need to find a good doctor, any suggestions? Prefers one who speaks English.

Saw Dr. Oz today. He had a segment about antioxidants relationship to CANCER. I remember Dr. Deweese putting me on 8,000 mg of Fish Oil back in 2008. Each capsule was 1,000 mg, so I was taking 8 a day. Reason: to help clean out arteries from cholesterol. Just starting doing some research tonite, and there seems to be a link that Fish Oil may cause prostrate cancer. Haven't finished, but Oz is saying all we really need is good food and a multivitamin. No need for tons of Vit. A, C, E, iron, calcium, etc. and that too much is actually dangerous. Gave up taking the 8,000 mg of Fish Oil after a couple of years and only take (1) 1,000 mg daily. Going to keep searching....

Dr. Hankenson (ER) is good physian, I think. I have seen since 1988.

Dr. Hankenson is the doctor she left after years.... as soon as she went to this new doctor that's when he found out she had Cancer. Hankenson is a joke
Debra C. replied:
The last time I saw you April Schaub was at "his" office. He, too was my doctor back in 1987, then switched because he peed me off. Went back to him about 3 years ago and he did nothing for me....but dictate to both Karry and I and focused on certain aspects of treatment, but he would have never found the cancer Dr. Altman found in one first. Yes, Altman gave me alot of "bad news" but in a good way. He was very thorough in all the necessary testing. Amy, I'll get with you on your doctor. Do you know Dr. Cribb who has an office on Main St., in Charlotte (with Altman)?? He is an option too...but doesn't take kids.
