I have an in home day care. Here is my basic info: I provide excellent, loving and educational childcare. I am in Surprise Farms just off Bell and Cotton in Surprise. I taught preschool for many years. I currently care for children in my home and two - three adults are present at all times. I have three full timers, a two year old boy and three year old girl, and a three year old boy. I also have a three year old girl who comes two - three times a week, referred from a daycare to me, a 17 month old boy and his three year old brother come 2-4 times a week, a nine year old girl (sibling) who comes during school breaks, a few drop off kids who come on occasion and six year old and a seven year old boy, who are in my "Breakfast Club" who come before school. They come to me for a bit over an hour before school, have breakfast, do a lesson, and are then brought to school by my husband, who has teaching experience (cognitively impaired youth and young adults). I limit my census to five full timers so that each child gets the loving attention they naturally need at a young age. In addition, I want to enjoy what I do, and not feel overwhelmed by it. The days are filled with many activities just like nursery / preschool, but in a loving home environment, for the little ones, and age appropriate activities for the older ones. I have a teen daughter who all the kids love, including my school age kids. All home cooked, healthy meals, snacks and drinks are provided. In addition, I have years experience bringing services to babies, infants, toddlers and school age children through early intervention and Spec Ed services. I was a baby nanny and childcare provider when I worked my way through college and I'm a mom, my daughter is now 13. I also helped raise two nieces and a nephew for a few years during a family crisis who are now happy, healthy, productive young adults. I am happy to care for newborns on up and can accommodate most needs. My rates for children 18 months of age and up, for up to 50 hours per week, are between $125-150 with discounts made for families with more than one child. I have different rates for newborns through 18 months and am happy to discuss those on a one to one basis. I also have part time, daily and hourly rates, and happy to work with you, financially and otherwise, depending on your and your child's needs. Please PM me, if interested. That's my typical info. I can certainly accommodate your needs and a flexible schedule. I am happy to furnish references. If you're still seeking childcare, please tag me here, then PM me.
Playing with the idea of putting Lilah in a preschool/childcare setting. Anyone have any recommendations in the Peoria area? I want her to have fun but also experience...
