Starry Night Bakery in Westminster makes some really nice cakes, as does icedgemsbaking in Reisterstown! c: And Sweet Simplicitea on Mainstreet makes AMAZING cupcakes, but I don't know if they make Cake-cakes... you'd have to talk to the owner c:

Snickerdoodles Bakery in Hampstead is very much still in business. My son's smash cake is being made there and I just got off the phone with them. We swear by Snickerdoodles, awesome look, delicious taste, and responsive upbeat customer service

We always use Colleen's Custom Cakes. Her designs are phenomenal but just as important they taste as good as they look. Never disappointed!
