Ive had Dr.Larry Jones for 33 years and he is awesome .He talks to you in ENGLISH and not dr.talk so you can understand what hes talking about.He takes the time answering questions you have and explaines them fully.Great bedside manner .Nate Oldhame is young but good too.

I take my daughter to Dr Reddy at The Pediatric Group &hes great. He saved my babys life

Dr Oldham is very good! And he has an amazing PA under him too if needed, Katie Jackson.

I highly recommend Dr. Eubanks in Harrisburg at Primary Care or Dr. Lopez in Marion. Dr. Eubanks is not only a family doctor but also a Pediatrician and that's who my family goes to besides my son and Dr. Lopez has been his doctor since birth and that is almost 10 years now. So as far as a Pediatrician I highly recommend Dr. Lopez.

Dr. Matthew Winkleman, he listens and is a absolutely the best. I credit him with them discovering my cancer just because of a couple of silly symptoms that I was blowing off.

If you're going to go to Rae Clinic in Christopher I'd recommend Pat Salmo. She's a PA but I love her! And so does my daughter. Dr. Javed is okay. But I feel like she brushes off your concerns.

I don't know how far your willing to travel but I live in Thompsonville and take my son to Dr. Korte in Carbondale...she's AMAZING and we don't have to worry about seeing other Dr's or a PA she's ALWAYS the one we see which is nice because my son got to form a bond with her quickly! She's answers all my insane questions and never acts like I'm stupid, highly recommend her ♡

Pediatric LLC in Marion....Dr. Baskaur, They are awesome, you can get same day if needed. (Office Park Drive, south of hospital). Love that you will be called back within 15-20 minutes, used to go to Lopez, but not anymore....

Another positive about Dr. Reddy, he has privileges at every hospital in the area, so you don't want to go to heartland, you can go to Carbondale. I love that!

All three of my kids go to Dr. Javed. We all love her. My girls (11 and 7) are very comfortable with her and my 5 month old son loves her. We moved out of the area for a few years and couldn't see her and missed her dearly.

Dr. Lopez is my sons doctor and has been for 9 years and we will not take him to anybody else. I highly recommend hi, to everybody.

Dr. Javed is wonderful! I have went to her all my life. She and Pat are both wonderful!

I do not recommend Dr. Chediak at all. My niece took her son to him and switched to Dr. Lopez. Dr. Chediak seen my son one time before we switched to Dr. Lopez cause Dr. Chediak has very poor office manners and like to push his religious beliefs on others and that is why I switched as well as my niece.

As for Marion Hospital we have NEVER had any issues. But Dr. Lopez is very good about sending your child to another hospital if you request it. We personally get sent to SSM Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis cause our son spent 12 days in the N.I.C.U there so if he has to have anything done Dr. Lopez automatically sends him there.

Dr. Javed and Pat are both great. I went to them since I was a baby and I'm now 18. So I can only see Pat but their both awesome.

Dr Javed is good but can't hardly get a same day appt if you kids get sick so I switched bc anytime I called couldn't get in.

Javed is an ok doctor but in my opinion is always fast on putting you on antibiotics for everything. My kids go to Center for Medical Arts in Carbondale and see Dr. Bleichner. Very kind and good doctor. There is also Dr.Churling their that my husband seen as a child and is a good doctor. I would explore your options:) goodluck

I loved Dr. Lopez and would not have switched but I will never take my child to Marion ER again. nothing against the hospital just the ER. I try to tell everyone to think about that now because I never did until then. it was a very scary night for me being a single mother and thinking about the what ifs

Thank you for confirming that, Jodi! That makes me feel better cause I'm not a big fan of Marion ER either. I'm very glad to know Carbondale hospital is an option under Reddys care.

Dr Lopez in Marion, he is fabulous with all my kids but went to him mostly because our last pedi was not good with our daughter who has downs. Dr Lopez treats her just like the other kids unlike our last one. Not to mention is nurses are great !

I agree Dr. Jeremy Gerwe in Mt. Vernon is wonderful. He was my preceptor for my NP clinical, and accepts all insurance. He is still a growing practice, so he will get you in quickly.

Dr. Javed is great but Pat Salmo is fantastic. She is at Rea clinic also. My kids are 10 & 14 and have been to her since their very first doctor appointment at 2 days old.

Dr Pavlovich in Carbonbale at the Center of medical arts is great. He's very informative and when I call the office at home asking questions he will personally call me back and explain things and tell me if I need to bring her to the office.

I have to agree with everyone about Dr Reddy and staff. I usually see Dr. Al-Sharif at Reddys office in WF and she is wonderful. She even called to check on my daughter on a Sunday not long ago to make sure we were doing ok after a visit the Friday before. They are all very compassionate and take their time with you/your child. I love them.

My kids see Dr. Bhaskar at Pediatric Group. Both him and Dr. Reddy are amazing. We went through quite a few dr's over the years and finally found one we love. My daughter got very sick last year and idk what we would've done without such a great physician. He takes time to get to know you, follows up and most importantly listens to you. When my daughter Hailey got sent to cardinal Glennon they kept telling me everything was fine (even though she was getting worse). Dr. Bhaskar listened to me when I told him something wasn't right and I knew something was wrong with her. He made them run more tests and then sent her to mayo clinic. Turns out there was something wrong with her and if it wouldn't have been for him listening to me she would have eventually died from it. A few weeks ago she was in a jet ski accident. A week after she was having lots of problems still so we went to the er and the attending along with dr Bhaskar decided to admit her. He came up to the hospital at 9:45 at night to check on her. I seriously can't say enough good about him. I will never take any of my kids to see anyone other than him or dr reddy. I highly recommend whoever you decide on that you go in and talk to them first. If they aren't willing to spend time answering your questions they won't spend time on your child.

Dr. Korte is amazing, but unless something has changed in the past few years, she only takes new patients assigned to her at birth.

Dr. Lopez in Marion is a really good doctor... My kids have been going to him for many years and wouldnt trust them with any other pediatrician..\

Dr. Korte doesn't take new patients:( we see Dr. Reddy out the pediatric group in Marion down the street from heartland hospital. They are fantastic!

Dr Lopez are my kids pediatrician and my kids won't see anyone I re cemented him he's great Iwwouldn't trust anyone else

Javed tends to rush you. I always felt like I was bothering her to ask questions. Really like Dr Lopez though.

We also see Dr. Deloso.. in my opinion he is the best! Both of my boys just love him and he actually cares for his patients! I 100% recommend him.

Both of my kids have seen Dr Javed, and she is good. We usually see her PA. Pat Salmo, but I think she is only there on Fridays.

I really like Brian Harrison and Valerie Stark at southern IL community healthcare, here in Benton. They take my health alliance insurance - and my Daugther really likes them! They are Family care providers ...however.

Dr. Korte is a wonderful doctor. She is at the center for medical arts. Love, love, love her!
