Seriously! We went through apple vacations. It was a dream. Booked it through an agency right here by the house. I will never go any other way. You can find 4 and 5 star accommodations and it is not expensive. Apple vacations.com all the way.

My brother-in-law is a travel agent. He has a Facebook page. DiTusa Travel Group. ...and he's Italian. He specializes in finding unique things to do and places to go. He just did n Italy trip for a family a few blocks over.

I have a friend that might be able help you out. Her name is Shawna White. Her email is shawna@cruisesinternational.com and her work # is 847-303-2114. She doesn't do just cruises.

Janet - check out these tour operators: Perillo, Tauck Tours, and Globus Gateway. Gives you an idea of where to go and what to see in Italy, different routes independitely or escorted. You can also drive or rail from place to place. These tours can be booked directly through American Express or even Costco Travel online, very competitive and often with extra perks. Let me know if you have any questions. (I've used mapped out tours as a guide for each city/country).
