Unfortunately it's not tall enough to press in but only just. It could easily be lifted a bit onto some 4 x4 s or 6 x6 s. A lot of cheaper racks have their forward lower crossmember right where you want to set your feet to walk out your squats. This one is set back so that's not a problem.
