Akers Ferry is still on the Current River. Jacks Fork Campground and Canoe Rental is located off of 106 East of Eminence.

Jack's Fork Campground and Canoe Rental is the absolute best. Right on the river. The staff is wonderful and always so willing to accommodate. To make a reservation call 573-858-3224. Booking ahead is helpful advice also.

The north fork of the white river is pretty nice as well. From twin bridges all the way to Norfolk lake in Tecumseh. But a lot of the shoreline is privately owned so it's sometimes difficult to find a suitable place to camp. Hogdons Mill is a beautiful place to visit in that area.
