For an Italian bakery a couple miles north of Denver, Valente's deli and bakery at 72 and lowell is solid! If you've lived on the east coast or have visited family there, this place is like walking into a portal. They have solid canollis, baklava, and eclairs that all taste soooo homemade :)

Someone already mentioned it, but to reiterate, Rheinlander Bakery in Arvada has some delicious German sweets that are delicious!

La Fillette - (Hilltop, East of Colorado off 8 th) Amazing french bakery, voted best bakery in Denver often. They have an always changing selection of sweets with macrons and various croissants always on the menu. Azucar Bakery - (South Broadway) Great for cakes and several unique central and South American deserts. Devils Food - (Wash Park East, Gaylord street) Coffee shop and bakery. They have a restaurant as well, but the coffee shop and bakery were so successful they added a separate storefront. Great for just about any sweets, the fruit tarts and coconut pie are my favorites.

Beet Box is super solid, and they carry many vegan options if applicable to you. I'm not vegan, but that stuff is fucking delicious. Also Voodoo Donuts if you want to try it out, but it's more of a meme than it is actually good donuts. Unless you get an ODB, which is the only acceptable choice.
