Hyperlite ships right away. You can get a Paria tarp on Amazon. Looks like Etowah doesn't have lead times, but don't quote me on that.

Get some seam grip and cut a patch from your stuff sack and glue that patch on or use some tenacious tape. I've used the tenacious tape on a tear on my Lunar Solo when my gaiter hook caught the tent and ripped it and it's held up fine for 2 years now with no leaks.

Simply Light Designs shipped my tarp order in less than 48 hours. Pretty much as fast as it's gonna get for something custom.

Last year on the pct I had something similar happen, six moon designs sent me a loaner tent and repaired my tent for me for free. I just paid the shipping sending them my tent and then the loaner when I got mine back , so they actually paid for shipping twice as well. Pretty sweet! The only downside was the loaner was a newer model and I liked the tieouts better.

Naturehike Taga2 on Amazon, albeit heavy than the lunar solo. I have both and Taga2 served me well before I upgraded to the lunar solo. Just ditch the stakes if you have lighter ones, buy a tyvek(sp?) sheet and you're golden.

I made this comment in another post. Gonna actually set up the tent to take pics and post it at some point but I could ship it to you priority and you could have it in a few days: I have a Protrail with about half a thru-hike on it. Mesh has a quarter sized tenacious tape patch from when a mouse chewed through it in NorCal, and then mean mugged me until I caught it in a shoe and whipped it at a tree. A few pinprick holes in floor, but nothing serious. I fixed em with tenacious tape but honestly unless youre floating in a puddle of water (which I don't recommend with the protrail anyway) you'll be fine. I'm confident in its ability to go many more miles, just going hammocking for AT/will prob go tarp on the CDT when/if I do it. Overall I was very happy w the protrail on the PCT. It's currently on backorder at Tarptent, and I believe seam sealed it costs 250. Ship it to ya -with both the optional poles you can order for it if you don't wanna take trekking poles-for $130. If you don't want the poles I'll do $120, because I'll be able to use a smaller box.

Maybe a siltarp short term and try to see if you can get warranty coverage on the one that ripped?

Just contact lunar and see if they will repair it (they likely will). Buy a cheap tarp in the mean time.

How big is the hole? I always have some material tape (tenacious tape) on me for smell-medium holes. Ask your fellow hikers, they might have some to lend you to get you through. Itll hold for the rest of your hike, and then some. I found SMD really helpful when I was on trail and had a pack problem. They had a new back plate waiting for me in the next town.
