Michelle Reid note that Novosol is available to the public. I have not confirmed what benefits a Travelshare member of WM receives in return for the TS level of membership, but suspect that that provide an opportunity to use WM points in lieu of cash, using the same formula as for other TS payments of about 4.5 cents per point (which is about a penny less per point than we actually paid WM in maintenance fees for those very points.) And Deb Campbell I am with you -- we used Rick Steves books as a very helpful guide.

I used Elizabeth Holmes Travel in Seattle. She took care of the air fare (great rates!), rental cars and trains. I booked using RCI (great condos!). But their limited availability and my limited flexibility made me stay in both Northern Italy and South ern. I think I'm glad I did. I also used Rick Steve's book and got a discount on a very fantastic hotel in Rome. Elizabeth Holmes Travel was recommended to me from Rick Steve's office.
