Contact Matthew Halterman at 773-992-6389. He does great work. He is an expert painter, does custom carpentry, trim work, floors, decks, framing, dry walls and pretty much anything you may need. He is also in the area.

Can anyone out there recommend a good, inexpensive person/company to "outfit" our mudroom with closets and drawers (so tired of looking at the mess and want to hide it...
Peter K. replied:
Try elfa at Container Store. I like that stuff better than California closets because it can be easily reconfigured
Nina K. replied:
Peter Kaplan, so funny! That's what I am replacing, because it's all mesh-wire and open for all to see. I don't think elfa does closets with actual doors, etc. I will check. I love elfa everywhere else we have it (pantry, our closets, kids closets, etc). But not in the mudroom.
Peter K. replied:
You want a closet company or a contractor? If contractor, Kerr Home Services. They did our kitchen and are PHENOMENAL!

Peter Kaplan and Nina Kavin, you're both too kind...Perfection Closets and California closets are both options I believe. Inexpensive, no...what you really need is for Kerr Home Services to bring in an architect to design the perfect closet for you that fits your every mood. Then we'll have a master carpenter spend a week building it. Then you can move into it.
Condo lobby needs remodeling. We are looking for a contractor to remove tile, install new flooring, painting and small amount of electrical. Any suggestions? Thank you
