Due to the damage from the storm a few weeks ago and after dealing with the insurance company we are now ready to get everything repaired.
Any suggestions...

Nathan Esche for roofing...he is very good. What kind of flooring? Brian Gamblin knows what he is doing when installing floors. Joe Gruelich paints. He worked for a major paint company, but opened up his own shop.

What photography insurance companies do you all use? Are the plans reasonable as far as cost? What do they cover? I know, I know, Google it and I have but want some...

I sold insurance for years and www.PPA.com has a lot of nice benefits including degrees and certifications as well as Equipment insurance, Indemnification Trust, and General Liability insurance. Other insurance companies can't offer. The pro active account will cost you $323 a year

If you are seeking liability insurance the company that I work for sells insurance for photographers. Typically your own personal liability will cover business practices up to a certain income amount (usually around $2,000 a year) but if you start making more than that you for sure need to get business insurance. You might check with your personal liability insurance co (usually packaged with your homeowners insurance) and see what their underwriting requirements are. The company that I work for sells it through Grinnell Mutual Insurance co. https://www.grinnellmutual.com/business/tailored-programs/photographers?utm_source=Social&utm_medium=Twitter&utm_campaign=Brand%20Page

When I had a business in my home, insurance paid in full for a new computer and any programs I needed when an electrical surge fried my computer. It was a great payoff of me. I recommend it. I can't recall my premium but I had it through Schultheis. Now I'd get Jens company to quote me.
