Restaurant suggestions? Hey, guys! My boyfriend and I are celebrating our four year anniversary today and looking to check out a really nice restaurant. We just moved...
MissNicolicious replied:
I heard City House was really nice, we went to Bound'ry for NYE and it was fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite "nice" restaurants.

[Margot](http://www.margotcafe.com/) is probably my favorite restaurant in Nashville. It's in East Nashville, expensive but not obscenely so, fancy enough to dress up but not so fancy that you couldn't wear nice jeans, and it is simply some of the best food I've ever had. Really special. Menu changes daily, and the website menu is often a day or two behind, but it will still give you a flavor of what they've got this week. Call ahead for a reservation.

[Bobbie's Dairy Dip](http://www.nashvilleonthemove.com/2012/09/bobbies-dairy-dip-to-open-2 nd-location-nashville-restaurants/) is a really fun, local place that has that 50 s feel with classic burgers and shakes... and a whole menu. They have some incredible funky ice cream concoctions and are vegetarian friendly. Check them out for sure! They have 2 locations... one in West Nashville off Charlotte Ave. and a second location opening in downtown Nashville on 4 th. Ave. opening at the end of September.

although if you're really about Mexican, the "nicest" (as in the most expensive) is Cantina Laredo in the Gulch. Rusan's is a very nice sushi place right across the street, but the best sushi in town is Ken's across from Vanderbilt's campus.
ssethrx replied:
Flyte - seriously, it's hard to beat. Also...i'll be behind the bar. http://www.flytenashville.com/menus/dinner/ Though Rumours east is really nice, city house is awesome, margot, german town cafe is pretty nice too.
jessicaplz replied:
Nice Mexican: Cantina Laredo in the Gulch, and great sushi in the same area: Virago.

Virago for Sushi is probably what I'd do. Not crazy crazy expensive but very nice.

Here is a list of nice, local, romantic restaurants. They are all well established, highly regarded restaurants: * F. Scott's (Green Hills; pricey--but they used to run a deal where entrees were half price if you came in at 9 p.m. or later) * Margot's Cafe (East Nashville) * Rose Pepper (East Nashville; Mexican) * MidTown Cafe (Midtown) * Bound'ry (midtown) * Rusan's (Gulch; sushi--but it's very noisy and not intimate) * Germantown Cafe (Germantown) * Tin Angel (West End near Vandy) * Sunset Grill (Hillsboro Village) * Wild Iris (Brentwood) * La Hacienda on Nolensville Rd. -- not romantic, but GREAT authentic Mexican food
jadestorm replied:
For sushi, I recommend Miyako! It's not fancy or romantic, but the sushi is amazing.

Cantina Loredo is quite good. It is not as expensive as other fancy restaurants, like Margot, Tayste, Flyte, etc. It is very good Mexican food with a nice selection of drinks and what not. It isn't the most authentic Mexican food, but it is quite good and I think that would be a great pick for you! Here is the address: 592 12 th Ave S Nashville, TN 37203 Neighborhood: Downtown

What is the best Mexican Restaurant in Evansville area? I don't like the shredded chicken so the chicken has to be the chunk chicken.
Theresa G. replied:
El Charro on the Westside.
Michael K. replied:
El Rio on North Green River. They make their own sauces from scratch. The Chipotle chicken is a whole chicken breast with white cheese and homemade Chipotle sauce
Sarah T. replied:
El Rodeo in Princeton has the absolute best hands down. I moved to Evansville ans haven't found any other place that comes anywhere close to it. Acapulco in Newburgh is the only place to come close to it. I hate the shredded chicken too!
Miki S. replied:
Los Bravos always.
Shelbi N. replied:
El Charros on west side . For lunch you get alot and won't cost you alot
Need restaurant suggestions for downtown Indy - Circle Centre/Union Station area.
Lynn P. replied:
There's a Palomino's too, and I've heard Rathskeller is good. If you like Turkish food, the Bosphorous Istanbul Cafe is good but a little further away from Circle Center.
Sarah G. replied:
Claddagh Irish Pub or Ram Restaurant & Brewery are both fairly close to Circle Center.
