We just moved to the area. Can anyone recommend a summer camp for my daughter (2 - 3 days per week)?
Thanks so much!

Action Kids or Camp Lincoln next door in Kingston. It's run by the Southern District YMCA. Might be too late to enroll, however.

Action Kids right down the road is fantastic. Welcome to the neighborhood. We live in the greenish grey colonial up on the hill diagonally from you on the right:-). My sister and 6 year old niece Chloe also live here and Chloe is dying to meet your kids. She has ridden by on her scooter several times "inconspicuously" hoping to see you guys outside:-)

YMCA Camp Lincoln is GREAT! It's in Kingston on Kingston Lake real camp with tons of kids grouped by ages. Swimming, arts, crafts, camp songs, canoeing, games, you name it and they have a bus that picks them up and drops them off from Swasey School. My boys are in high school now but they still talk about how much they loved it.

Looking into summer camps. Any recommendations?? How is camp Lincoln? Are there any good sports related camps...specifically basketball? Thanks!!
Lenore S. replied:
Cadi went to CL for 2 years and liked it. Boden went once, liked it, but went to camp at Seacoast Science Center instead the following year, which he loved even more.

The Rec will offer some week-long camps, but they're usually partial days. Challenger Sports Soccer is usually the week before school starts. There is also camp at Action Kids.
Sarah M. replied:
Exeter Rec also does all summer camp, but they fill very early
Deb G. replied:
Check out Journeyman BB as well as Exeter Rec. basketball camps. If you are looking for more,PEA use to run a pretty intense week long BB camp. Stay over or commute if local. I am not sure if they still offer but my guys were involved in all three

UNH has a great basketball camp that runs for 1 week in the summer, The Rim in Hampton offers summer camps, and Exeter High School runs basketball summer camp for 2 weeks in the summer. Camp Lincoln is great!
