Radburn Exxon, Leo and Rays, Maple Auto are the ones the majority of posters swear by. I don't thinks anyone's had a bad experience with any of them

Maple Rock Exxon in Glen Rock (at the corner of Maple Ave and Rock Rd) does great work... I've been going to them since I first started driving... They also service the Police cars for Glen Rock, just to give you an idea of the level of trust...

Anyone here owns a Nissan and has a great mechanic in town? Not much luck with someone who understands Nissans and their quirks. Thanks!

I've always had great luck with Auto Sumser on Saddle River Road. They've dealt with my Dodge, Ford, and Honda with great success. Give them a call. Tell Al that I suggested them.

We've been using STS for most things, and I've been using J&Z Automotive in Teaneck for almost 30 years for the big stuff.

Sheena Philips Abraham, I take my car to Maple Auto. I am a single woman, and haven't had a problem with their prices or work. In fact, they are very helpful with my questions. I have a friend of the family in the Bronx who I call first to make sure their estimate is within reason. It has been so far.
Donald D. replied:
Auto Sunset isn't cheap but they do good work. If I still lived in the area I would still use them.

Another vote here for Maple Auto. I do have a Nissan Sentra but still under warranty.

My old next door neighbor used Auto Sumser and was very happy with them.
Any suggestions for a great, reasonably priced auto mechanic in Fair Lawn or the surrounding area?

We have used Tommy and Frank at Maple Auto, for many, many years. They are on the corner of Berdan and River Road and are very honest and do excellent work.
Wendy P. replied:
We are noticing that our current mechanic, Auto Sumser, keeps getting more and more expensive for routine work. We are hoping we can get a quality mechanic for less.

My 2007 Honda CRV (w/191 miles, no surprise) seems to need a catalytic converter replacement.
My guys seem to think it’s a $2200 expense.
Seems high...

Can someone recommend a good, legit auto shop mechanic (not a back yard guy) in Fair Lawn area to replace transmission, that will also warranty his/her work? Thanks.
