Need referrals for an attorney able to handle a slip and fall at Home Depot.

Why does everyone assume that this happened outside? Slips and falls because of no "Wet Floor" signs are actually taken very seriously if injuries are actually sustained. If that's what I'm assuming happened. It's nobody's business anyway, and if no one has anything to contribute then just move on? I can't even believe some of the responses on here from adults. People are allowed to ask for referrals without giving their personal business to the public. Let a lawyer ask the questions. I also agree with Merdes Law ^

So you all are assuming that this fall did not have an injury with it? If her insurance company denied the claim because it happened at Home Depot, she has to sue.

Kalina Grabinski-Marusek did a great job for a joint will. It was a little complicated because of a house title problem and she solved it no problem. Great lady recommended to me by an attorney friend who works for a native Corp and couldn't help. Northern Law Group is right next door to the Oasis Restaurant on University ave. It is on the University Ave end of the Building, enter the right side. I don't know why her FB page gives the Cushman address.

I'm seeking good legal advice from a lawyer or attorney for my case with the university. If you know of someone- send me their info.

ok word thanks guys. To: Donald Foley <djfoley@alaska.edu> Reply | Reply to all | Forward | Print | Delete | Show original When is a good day for you this next week to meet? By dispute with you and the university I am referring to how you initiated and completed the process of withdrawing me from my graduate program, without getting me to sign off on it. It is not something that I wanted, and you interrupted me while I was talking with Susan to tell me that you would start on the paperwork for removing me from the program- once again you interrupted me to tell me this and did not even ask me. The withdrawal was not voluntary and not student initiated by me, and you also told me that you were going to do your best to get me a refund. In a prior email and letter you told me that you wanted to thank the financial aid office and bursar's for working out a package that was best on my behalf with a 50% refund. If it were a 50% refund, then I would be refunded half of the $4000 I paid. Instead, my financial aid package has been adjusted, including my federal funding, based on something that is not true- I did not voluntarily withdraw from the graduate program, it is something that was initiated by you- the dean of students- and carried through and processed by you- because of ideas I discussed and brought up in class I was perceived as a threat. I have been educating myself as to my legal rights as a student, and I feel that I have been heavily wronged. I will not let this stand. After you thank the bursar's office, you attempt to persuade my decision in saying that if I sign off on the student voluntary withdraw- which is not the case- my reputation will not be hurt with other universities. I would not have the need for federal financial aid and have pulled out more loans if I had money, and I know the financial office is aware of my financial status. I do not have an additional $2200 to pay the university, and this number was made up based on calculations that I do not believe are sound. Also, now I have additional fees on my UA account including: late fee($100), credit transfer to other term($120) and other associated additional costs that have come about since my financial aid package has been altered by you and the financial aid office. I will not pay this $2200 as it is unjust and I believe I am entitled to a refund of a portion of the money I have invested in the program. My loans are with the federal government, not the university, and the $2200 I now supposedly owe UAF is based off a decision made by you and the university. I did not voluntarily withdraw from the program. I do not enjoy you threatening me by saying that I should go along with you and say I voluntarily withdrew, which is not the case, so that my reputation and academic standing will not be hurt with other universities. I have looked up my legal rights as a student, and I have legal documentation that I believe will hold up in court of how I have been wronged by you, my advisor Britton Niles, and the head of the community counseling program Susan Renes. I will be seeing you soon.
Real Estate Attorney, anyone? Looking for recommendations.
