I like Reiki and have learned massage. I like a 'complementary' approach, much like Complementary Medicine that works in conjunction w/ traditional medicine. My income is SLIM right now. I gave up a lucrative full time Social Worker job so that I can pursue my long dream of opening a doggie daycare. I intend for it to be intimate and personalized, and meeting the dogs' needs as well as the humans'. For me, it's kind of a calling and what I feel most comfortable doing. I certainly think people should get paid for their work, and will certainly charge for the daycare, but the rest I do out of love and a desire to keep pets from being recycled:)
