Anyone recommend a doctor in Fairhope. My grandma sees a great one but he has the absolute worst non caring secretaries ever. She is having blood pressure problems and...
Sandy M. replied:
990-2292. Like I said, I don't know how long it would be before you could get an appointment, since she'd be a new patient.
Zach T. replied:
Dr. Schrubbe. Idk wat he does as a doctor haha but every person I've heard talk about him says hes great
Melissa M. replied:
My family has been seeing Dr. Henry Davis for years. His staff is awesome and he is amazing. He is in Daphne at Thomas Medical Center near Daphne Publix and in the same building as Dr. Shrubbe. My mom sees Dr. Shrubbe. His wait can be long also. I used to work at Thomas Hospital and know Dr. Tormoen. She is very personable too.
Cindy M. replied:
Weve used Bob McKnight for 20 years ... he's a family practitioner.... but he's all the way in Daphne by the interstate across from I-10. She might not want to go that far. I recommend him, though. His nurses and secretaries are great.
Sharon D. replied:
Dr Dukes, he's new to Fairhope, moved here recently from northerrn AL, he is so nice and staff were very nice! He actually takes time to talk to You! He's right in front of hospital
Jeanie P. replied:
Agree with Cindy. Dr. McKnight is great!! Before we found him, we found doctors who had moved to Fairhope to play golf. Just wish those guys wouldn't hang up a shingle and claim to be practicing medicine.
Sharon G. replied:
I agree Dr Tormoen is great.....
Sandy M. replied:
My mom and I both use Dr. Suzanne Tormoen. She deals with a lot of LOL's in her practice.(Little Old Ladies). And she has a terrific staff. Not sure how long it would take to get a new patient appt though. In the meantime, I'd go with an urgent care somewhere. We've used the one by Walmart several times and have been very pleased.
My husband and I need to choose a general practitioner for our regular doctor so BCBS will quit calling me. Any suggestions on doctors who listen and genuinely are...

ISO Tricare Prime Physician in the area
$1,234 - Daphne, Alabama
We are active duty Air Force and stationed away from our duty base. Anyone know of a physician that...
Jackilynn L. replied:
I strongly suggest you ask for Navy Hospital Pensacola, the Tri Care active duty in Baldwin County is horrible, the medical community is not Tri Care Friendly as far as family medicine, although the specialist in the area are Tri Care Friendly, it makes no sense. The ortho and heart doctors are great here with active duty and retired tri care, I do believe Mobile has some Tri Care prime doctors, if a doctor would come in to Baldwin Vounty and only do Tri Care, we would all flock to that Doctor!,
Jackilynn L. replied:
I am talking about Tri Care Prime!! That's what we have, even as retired military, we just go to the Navy Hospital Clinic, in an emergency, Thomas Hospital is awesome with Tri Care Prime. Also, so your aware, the Navy Hospital also has done away with the emergency room and it is a walk in clinic (urgent care) facility and open on weekends and nights!
Cheryl W. replied:
Try Dr. Vanessa Russell at Thomas Family & Wellness Center in Daphne. She's a great physician! My daughter has Tri-Care and a patient there.
Gina B. replied:
Dr. Woods in Daphne takes it. She is across from Home Depot in Daphne.
Corey P. replied:
I used Scott Taylor at Scared Heart in Gulf Shores the accept tricare prime!
Rebecca B. replied:
Sandra Alexander in Foley is a Tricare Prime Provider
Kim Y. replied:
I'm active duty I live in Baldwin county. I've been to Thomas hospital multiple times they have accepted my tricare... Try them... Naval hospital Pensacola sucks
Looking for a recommendation for a primary care doctor in the Fairhope area for a friend from out of town. Anybody have any recommendations? It would be for an adult...
Alison C. replied:
Dr. Regan Andrade. Our whole family uses her for everything--I even tried to talk her into delivering this baby She's very nice and knowledgeable. I looked her up online and she had some bad, old reviews--something about a dog (I've never seen a dog) and her office staff being rude (never encountered a problem)--but I've only had positive interactions with her.
Kate R. replied:
Dr Schrubbe, his practice is in Daphne but I believe he lives in Fairhope. He was my doctor for 8 years before I moved away. Love him!

Monica T. replied:
Reagan Andrade is awesome. Thorough & respectful of patient. Been using her for years. She is very understanding that I don't just take medications immediately. She treats the individual based on the individual and will explain and answer questions without the "God complex" some Drs exude. I can't say enough good things about her.
