Whew!! Problem solved by snaking. Cause was rust deposit buildup from house being vacant so long by former owner. Would totally recommend Alpha Sewer in Belleville.... tried the least invasive method first, and very reasonable, less than $100. One company said the main line would have to be cleaned out, and quoted $500 minimum.
