However, since it's a wrangler, all you would really need to do lift the body off the frame, sand it down and find where the bad spots are and replace the metal... to have a shop do it is gonna be expensive

I've had great luck from treadwright.com. Retread tires. Lots of complaints back when they first started doing retreads but in the last couple of years they have changed their design and implementation. Much better tire!

It's also 3 months same as cash, if you let it go past 3 months then it's a terrible deal because of interest. But I think it's 49 dollars down and they ship them to your door
