Then Liberty built a brand new building across Centre St in the '60's and went from selling bread & pizza to also selling all kinds of cakes and pastries...mostly Italian.

Connors Bakery on Main Street in Campello (corner of Main & E. Chestnut) was awesome. My Dad would stop there to pick up fresh Italian bread on Wednesday nights when we had spaghetti, and he always brought home a special dessert as well. A few of my friends worked there when we were in high school.
