Serious time: I'm looking for the best possible business attorney in Fargo to represent FM Donation Transportation and me against the city. Message me anybody you would...
Today was horrible. Anyone know a lawyer or have information on ND debt collection statutes?
Camille L. replied:
I will help you out... Start by reading the fair debt collection act. They have to show you written proof that the debt is valid. You need to send the request in writing, and state that they must not contact you until the debt is validated. Also like Justin said, start with a dispute on all 3 credit bureaus. http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

Give Josh Swanson a call Tom. He works at Vogel Law Firm. He can maybe hook you up with someone pro bono. Tell him your situation.
