Looking for a primary care physician in Fayetteville. Any recommendations??
Megan C. replied:
I go to Dr. Salmon at Fayetteville Diagnostic, he has always been easy to get in to. Hudson goes to Dr. Vickey(757-5350) at the new Northwest clinic by Guido's in Springdale and we love him, he is great! (Vickery is family practice, we couldn't find a pediatrician that we liked).
Angela R. replied:
Dr Bonner or Dr Magre. They are both awesome!
Lindsey E. replied:
Dr Hardin in Farmington...re: by my OBGYN. Clearly that's not in Fay, but I thought I would throw that in. ;)
Christin R. replied:
Dr. Ronnie Lee in prairie grove. Well with the drive to see him.
Kelley A. replied:
we use Dr. Magre also and love her.
Lea C. replied:
Bryan Abernathy
Caroline P. replied:
Mark Miller, MD. He has been mine since I moved to F'ville. Coordinated all the Standford/Cambell Clinic ortho stuff for me. Suoer intelligent; an athlete; family man; wonderful disposition and sense of humor; compassionate and really good Physician Asst backup. Call me.
Jennifer L. replied:
Dr. Parker ....he is in Tontitown
Allison H. replied:
Dr Magre for sure! She is awesome and her husband is a school teacher which makes her even better in my eyes:)
Does anyone have a recommendation for a demonstrably non-racist doctor in Northwest Arkansas? We have been having trouble getting healthcare for Sonia.
Don M. replied:
Dr Robert Wilson or Bill Kendrick. Clinic in Springdale. Great guys! 419-9902
Jennifer F. replied:
O'Connell at First Care North
Jessica J. replied:
I like Joe O'Connell for primary care, and many of my friends use him. I can't exactly vouch for his racial views, but he's a potty-mouthed Yankee who is demonstrably irreverent. Which meets my needs. My heart goes out to you guys. Empathetic folks in the medical field can be hard to find in my experience.
Jake F. replied:
Also Mike, check out Dr. Magre at FirstCare South for Primary Care or Dr. Titus or Dr. Paulson at Renaissance Women's Healthcare.
D'lorah H. replied:
Putting in my vote for the Docs at Renaissance Women's Health (particularly Dr. Paulson). Loving, caring people who do not discriminate. They will provide recommendations to similarly minded docs in other specialties.:)
Dwain C. replied:
For general practice, Johnny Adkins at the WRMC Clinic in Fiesta Square is superb.
Sara W. replied:
Weighing in for Dr Johnny at the WRMC Clinic and Dr Titus at Renaissance.
Has anyone found a rheumatologist in the area? I've had 3 doctor referrals & have been told I've been put on a list & probably can't get in to see one around here for a...
Sheryl C. replied:
I see Walton Toy with Mercy. I'm not surprised at the wait. Maybe your P.C. can get you an appointment that's not so far in the future. Good Luck!
Kelly A. replied:
The wife finally got in with Dr Toy and likes him. Previously used Dr Joseph in Joplin and stayed with him many years after we moved to BV.
Jan B. replied:
My husband goes to Dr Mills and we had to wait for several months for the 1 st visit, but he had an appointment last Wednesday when the big storm was to hit, and when the office called to remind us of the appointment I told them we might not be able to make it out if there was ice and she said they had a cancellation and we went Tuesday so they do have cancellations. Don't know if it would work for a new patient. He's at Mercy.
Donna W. replied:
I used Dr. Saitta also. I really liked him. Unfortunately, he doesn't take Medicare so I had to change. I'm with Dr. Toy now and really like him too.
Jane B. replied:
Mercy just lost one Rheumatologist. Doctors Toy and Mills had to split 930 cases left by this doctor. There is a group of Rheumatologist in Fayetteville next to Washington Regional. I think the Doctor who left Mercy went there. I went to Dr. Mills in 2008 and he left and I waited six months for an appointment with Dr. Toy. Have been with him since. Dr. Mills' wife finished her residency and they moved back here.
Kevin B. replied:
My mother in-law goes to Dr Joseph in Joplin. I can get the number if you're interested.
Ashley W. replied:
The 1 by Washington Regional hasn't been accepting new patients. Definitely call Dr. Saitta's office.
Ashley W. replied:
I went to Dr. Saitta for those exact reasons, Dede Berkley Varner & he's helped me so much. You'll love him.
Does anyone know a doctor in this area that specializes in Fibromyalgia? I had a doctor in Kansas City but can't find one here.
Linda O. replied:
I've looked up Dr. Charles Mills in Rogers. His specialty is Rheumatology. Rheumatologists diagnose and treat arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosis, Kawasaki Disease and other rheumatic diseases of the joints, soft tissue, and connective tissue.
Linda O. replied:
Definfitely do NOT go to William Piechal in Fayetteville. He is a fraud. A lot of drug users use him. He always wants to give lots of worthless, but painful $400 each shots. He will prescribe the pills if you will take the shots. We had a very bad experience with him many years ago. I can't believe he is still practicing.
Buzz S. replied:
Dr. Janice LaBrie Bentonville will help you with acupuncture treatments.
Charlotte M. replied:
Dr Charles mills, he is a wonderful Christian with great bedside manner!
I am looking for suggestions for a orthopedic doctor in NWA. Had an accident that involves my knee and hip (no old guy with gray hairs jokes please, lol). And need to...
Ashley S. replied:
Ozark Orthopaedic has all your needs. Dr. Kris Hanby is the hip/pelvis guy and sees knees all day long as well. I work in MRI here as well and we can meet all the needs you have in this one office. Call us!! 521-2752
Nicole G. replied:
Dr Arnold
Amanda R. replied:
6 knees surgeries here, all by the age of 18. Dr James Arnold (passed away) was his father that did all of my surgeries and Chris (current Doc) attended probably half of them. If it wasn't for his dad, I would not be walking right now.
