Hi Mysha, my very favourite place is Panzano, there's a gorgeous place where you can stay called "Villa Le Barone" (not cheap but amazing), around Panzano there are many walks you can enjoy, and a beautiful "Pieve" (church) you can Visit: San Leolino. For the wine tasting I suggest "Il palagio" they are very nice and there wine is fabulous!

I had one of the best meals at Il Gallo Nero in Greve. For wine tasting, I highly recommend Montefioralle winery!

Il Gallo Nero for lunch or dinner.......mmmmmm.....gnocchi with zucchini flowers....amazing and memorable; Highly recommended!
Cristina G. replied:
Mysha Pavel, Montefioralle is a fortified medieval village near Greve (30 min walking or 10 by car) you have to make an appointment to visit and it costs 15 euro per person but you will get a beautiful, chill, and personalized experience. Truly an amazing company! http://www.aziendamontefioralle.com/
Caroline B. replied:
Mysha Pavel, if you want I can try to send you a map with one of the itinerary I know. it's about 10/12 km, a loop from Panzano. I have a little travel agency Green Ways Tour and we organise this kind of excursions. I did it in may and it was spectacular.
Leaving Siena today to head to Florence. Hit me up with any sightseeing/museum/restaurant tips. Where do I *have* to go?

Le Volpi e l'Uva, just over the Ponte Vecchio, kind of hidden! In the Piazza dei Rossi.....a nice little wine bar with fantastic small bites! Great selection of, by the glass, wines opened daily and the assorted cheeses and meats and some focaccia to go with are a perfect reprieve from a day of wandering the old town! I had one of the best Tignanellos EVER there! www.levolpieluva.com
