I’m another vote for Dr. Pradhan. They have a nurse practitioner there every other day or so while he’s out and there is a covering doctor (I don’t know who) in TR for emergencies but I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pradhan. He’s kind, caring and gentle. He really cares about his patients and is super knowledgeable about what he does. He’s great with my autistic 4 year old daughter and 13.5 month old son and always greets us with a smile. The ladies who work in his office are wonderful, too! I can’t recommend Dr. Pradhan enough!

We absolutely love Dr. Santo Domingo. Always pick up there phone, you can always get an appt. No issues ever. He is blunt, and if you listen to him you will have a baby that sleeps through the night in 6-8 weeks.

Dr Santo Domingo is a great choice. However, if you are against vaccines you should look elsewhere. He spaces out vaccines appropriately. My children have only had 1 or 2 given at visits. He is the only Dr you will see, unless he is on vacation. He always has a covering doctor. I have never waited more than 10 minutes prior to a scheduled appointment. He always fits your sick child in either the same day or early the next day, depending on what time you call for a sick appt. He doesn't over prescribe antibiotics. New staff in office might be the reason for the above complaint.

I called Dr. Santo Domingo before moving here in August. The person who answered the phone had no clue what she was talking about and I was told before I could make an appointment the doctor had to interview me to decide if he would accept us as patients. The next appointment for this so called interview was a month out. I called Silverton Pediatrics and had zero problems. The staff and doctors there are amazing. I highly recommend them.

We absolutely love Dr. Pradhan! He’s kind, caring, thorough and always fantastic with my children. The ladies that work for him are wonderful, also!

I love lakewood pediatrics on 9 in lanoka. My kids were going else where and everytime i mentioned something about my concerns with my children i would get brushed off. Dr. Jain is the first dr who has actually listened to my concerns, then took action if needed. The staff there is also amazing!

Dr. Jerry Mabagos hands down. He talks to the kids as well as parents about what is going on and also remembers info outside of medical record about the family. Has been relaxed when needed but extremely thorough when needed.

Dr. Pradhan...he is kind, thorough and caring. He has seen both my kids for the past 14 years. He'll call you back even on the weekend to check on your child if there was a problem.

My granddaughters. ages 6 and 4 go to Dr. Mabagos. My son and daughter in law chose him before the eldest was born and they've been going there ever since. Never a problem with him and my granddaughters are healthy children.

He always ask how they are even if one brother isnt with us. He is truly caring man and he is doing what he was meant to do. They are really busy because he is really good. He does not ever rush you out he takes time for all of his patients.

Dr. Souhir Alturk in Toms River (the pediatrician, her husband is a cardiologist in TR). One doctor office, no PA. Diagnosed my daughter with a kidney problem and made an appointment for me to see one of the best pediatric nephrologists in the country within a day. Great people in the office. My twins are 13, they have seen her since they were newborns and I wouldn't take them to anyone else.

Dr Mabagos. Bar none. While in Disney this past year in November our four year old developed croup cough the morning we were leaving. I called Dr. Mabagos once we checked in and he had a prescription expedited to a pharmacy his office found near Orlando. He then had it arranged for the pharmacy to deliver it to our resort. He also included extra medication for other symptoms due to us going on the Disney cruise that following Monday. He was worried we would be out of the country without proper medication. Best doctor service I've ever witnessed.

Silverton Pediatrics is great! We went there before our son was born and had a tour of the facility and met with one of the owners, Dr. Qazi. She and her team are amazing! They have been an integral part of our son's life these first 5 months. Very happy with our choice with Silverton Pediatrics!

Dr Santo Domingo in Bayville is the best, we love him! My first daughter just turned 13 months and our second was just born 10 days ago. I wouldn't take my girls to anyone else and he is the only dr in the practice so they always see him. The girls in his office are all very nice when we call, they are always able to get us in and when you have an appointment you never wait, you are taken on time and back to an exam room right away so no sitting in the waiting room picking up germs.

We use Lakewood Pediatrics.... Dr. Jain and Dr. Stavrellis. They are both great! We don't get the flu shots and they never pushed it. Not sure about other vaccinations, though.

I use Dr Yassin. When the office is closed the call goes to his cell. And he doesn't push on vaccines he lets me break them up on how I'm comfortable giving them to my baby.

I've used Dr Pradhan since my kids were born. My kids are 20 and 18. If vaccines are mandatory then yes he gives them. But there were times I've said no to certain ones and that was it he didn't push them. I like Dr Pradhan and you can call the office and Eileen knows my voice. I called this morning (I need a referral for Thursday for my son) No issues and even though he's 20 they still let me do the calling

We went through several doctors before we found Dr. Feldman at cedar bridge pediatric in Barnegat on Rt 9. We've been with her and her team of female doctors for 2 years now and absolutely love them! My fiance had a language barrier with Dr. Mabogos and it frustrated him 1) not having enough time for questions and feeling rushed 2) Not being able to fully understand everything he said in literally a minute before rushing us out 3) not being able to get sick appointments for a few days, let alone actually getting someone on the phone. Dr. Feldman goes over literally everything and doesnt rush you at all. My fiance feels comfortable going there and having an ample amount of time with them. Also, they really go out of their way if your child is sick. I remember my 1st visit with her when my daughter was misdiagnosed by a doctor in town and we went with our gut and got a second option. She advised us to bring her right to the emergency room and even called ahead to a doctor she knew there. (All when our regular doctor said it was allergies when it wasnt) Dr. Feldman called my phone in the middle of the night to make sure we were ok and that they properly treating our daughter and and even asked to see us the next day to go over things. I was sold right then and there that she was an amazing doctor and truly cared for my child whom she just met! Now we have her cell phone number and if I have any questions, I can text her which is so comforting! Again, we went through handful of doctors! Yes my fiance is picky but when it comes to your childrens well being who isnt? Highly recommend them! Even her team of other doctors there! We also get in right away if my kids are sick and office staff are extremely helpful:) Good luck! P.s- literally a 15 min drive from Lacey:)

Not sure on the vaccine thing as we vaccinate on schedule but Dr. Pradhan is really awesome and doesn’t rush us. He’s awesome with the kids and treats them really well and is amazing with my autistic daughter. We’re very happy with him!

Yes, I switched to Cedar Bridge Pediatrics. Couldn't be more pleased with the office and medical staff.

We went there and my daughter was so sick with phneumonia we were in the hospital and all. Er dr said to do all these meds and follow up with Mabagos, which we did, then Mabagos said there was nothing wrong with her the er dr didn’t know what he was talking about and to stop all the meds. Uh we say the X-ray and myself and my husband have medical backgrounds it was clearly there. We changed from him that day. Silverton pediatrics in Toms River is great!

We also switched for the same reasons. It was just tough to have a medically complex child and constantly calling for appointments and being told to try tomorrow when the schedule opens for the day. We switched to CHOP in smithville. We loved the doctors there especially Dr Darenkov so we were really bummed to leave but we are happy now at CHOP.

Lakewood pediatrics.. they have an office in the Lanlac building on route 9 by Walmart.. absolutely LOVE them. The Lanoka office is open Monday-Friday and the Lakewood office is open all 7 days. Extremely convenient and they are so good with emergency appts

Dr. Hamza in Toms River on 37. He is the commons by Community hospital. Worth the drive. He is a great doctor and the girls there are awesome. Never had a problem getting in the same day I called if needed. And he takes his time with you. Sad my kids are now adults and cant go there anymore

Thank you for all the replies! I finally got a call back from the Brick office and was able to make my appointment in Lacey. She said they have a whole new system and have been having issues. I’ve never had any problems before and I love Dr Mabagos so I’ll give it another chance. If it continues I will definitely be switching!

Sadly I left the practice two years ago and for that exact reason. You cannot call all day long trying to get your child an appointment when they are sick let alone to schedule a visit. What about in an emergency during hours? He was a great Dr. but I couldn't stay in a practice like that. Even when I called Brick to try and reach Lacey I couldn't. They were just as rude telling me to keep trying. And yes I did complain above their heads and no it never changed. I love our choice - Lakewood Pediatrics.

That was ONE of the reason we left there. It was impossible to get through and when i finally did they were nasty. We switched to cedar bridge pediatric and absolutely love them! Dr. Feldman is amazing and if I have an issue or even a question, I not only get through but can text her and she answers right back:)

If hospital put her out till 19 th, you should be able to use that. If she was out for a day before that, you can appeal credits and state you couldn't get her there till that day. Same with other if she was out for a day before doctor you can appeal for them to allow that day. I go to LBI Hackensack Meridian walk in place. They have never given me a hard time about note for a day before and have also faxed over note for extra day when kids were still sick. Winter is the best never anyone there. Silverton Pediatrics is my pediatrician, love them.

Another vote for Cedar Bridge Pediatrics. We were just there today actually. Great doctors and staff, and I've never had a problem getting a note for school if my kids were out sick per drs orders.

Dr Yassin is wonderful! Very laid back. Does not pressure you into anything. He takes more of a natural approach instead of pushing medication. He answers personally after hours. It is hard to find a doctor like him now a days.

I absolutely love Dr. Yassin. My children went to him starting 33 years ago and now my 4 grandchildren see him. He’s a terrific pediatrician and a sweet person.

I’ve used Dr. Yassin for the past 5 years and my twins were born 9 weeks early. We own several healthcare offices and yes, while he has an accent he can’t control, you will NOT and I repeat NOT find anyone who cares more and will fit you in immediately and work within your comfort zone.

Don’t know if he’s taking new patients but Dr. Mabagos in Lacey is simply the best around. Bar none.

Hated cedar bridge. Liked the drs not the staff. They told us we couldn't come in for our three month shots until the last payment from the ins went through, which was going through.
