Guys, that HURST handle is CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR STUFF!!! How can anyone hate it? LOLOL Many sixties and early seventies muscle cars either had one "stock" or got one added by the owner. The Hurst Olds 442, AMC Rebel Machine, AMC ScRambler, Pontiac GTO, early 60 s B bodies, 70 Charger, Road Runner, 71-74 Cudas and Challengers - had "stock" Hurst shifters. Besides the n/a GLH with its decked block and chrome valve cover WAS a factory "Hot rod" at the time. I think Motor Trend called it a "hot rod" in an article. Marty the lockout worked with my the original shifter so I probably have to adjust it. Tried a couple times but couldn't figure it out. I will use the procedure from the "Mopar 2.2 Speed Secrets" book and try again once the Spring rolls around. I removed the original console and shifter for the Hurst muscle hot rod look. The car is currently off the road as it needs a trailing arm replacement. I bent mine in an accident almost a year ago. Driving my Spirit R/T at the moment until December. I miss my GLH! (sigh)

Ok ok, easy as pie, I'm working from 8 o'clock until about 1 o'clock tomorrow at Land Rover and Jaguar in Norwood, seriously swing by if you can, all my tools are there we can eyeball it real quick and get a good game plan, and this Saturday only I'm working with another tech that would actually find that beast amusing and put his two cents in, he's older and wiser
