Hi, we are looking for a new paediatrician for our three year old. We are looking for someone that is patient with toddlers and listens to...

We also had a bad experience at a nearby pediatricians who shall remain nameless (the doctors instead of looking at our boy or talking to him, would look at a computer screen during the visit). We changed the practice upon a recommendation from our fri ends. It is called Summit Pediatrics in Summit. It is 20 min or so away from us but it is so worth the car ride. We could have not been happier with our Dr. Manocchio: http://www.summitpedsnj.com/meet-us/

Dr Yerovi. She's been great for us.
Jenna P. replied:
Dr. Yerovi usually only accepts newborns. We go to Colyer-Aversa, who is in the same building as Yerovi, and love her. We ended up with her because of Yerovi not accepting non-newborns and are very happy.

Verona Pediatrics. Just up Bloomfield Avenue. Male and female doctors. Great staff. Easy to get appts. Good for little ones....just as good and thoughtful with adolescents, which is important to consider when choosing a pediatrician too. http://www.veronapediatrics.com/

Dr. Flores has a family practice so I assume that means kids. He is a great diagnostician. Montclair Family Practice in Glen Ridge right next to Mountainside. 973 743 2321 but I think his partner, a Woman, Dr. Nitti works more with the kids.

Tenafly Pediatrics on Broad St., Clifton has been our practice for over 10 years and we have been very happy with them. Just 10 minutes from Upper Montclair - www.tenaflypediatrics.com

Love Verona pediatrics. One male doc (Strader) three females. For sick visits you see whoever is available (and I always get in easily). You can make requests fir well visits. Had to take my 6.5 yo last week, and SSS really happy with how the MD spoke with him - she didn't look to me for all the info. Nice staff, great nurse. They do only have one waiting area, but it is large. I've never been kept waiting a significant amount of time for my appt.

Dr. Lori Colyer-Aversa in Bloomfield is fantastic. Started with her in 1999 when she was in Montclair. http://drcolyeraversa.m.webs.com/site/mobile?dm_path=%2F...

She's not in Montclair but we've used her since we moved here 10 years ago. Dr. Deborah Coy, northfield ave, west orange. my kids love her.
Norma T. replied:
Dr. Coy's former partner Dr. Yerovi is fantastic! Excellent rapport with kids. Non alarmist when something is wrong. Always always calls back. Easy to get appointments. Bilingual Spanish. I have a 17 year old-we still go to her! Check her out. You'll be glad you did!

Good luck Jennifer! Some experts (in various fields) make side money as expert witnesses on a regular basis. Here's an example directory: http://www.jurispro.com/category/pediatrics-s-489/
